Responsibilities
- Develop safe work instructions and procedures for surveys, construction and electrical installation.
- Assess occupational risks and define preventive controls for work activities.
- Coordinate training, briefings and competency checks and maintain authorisation and expiry registers.
- Inspect work areas and contractors for PPE, barriers, permits and equipment records.
- Record non-compliance and hazardous events, track corrective actions and prepare reports.
Requirements
- Occupational safety qualification or technical education with relevant safety training.
- Three years in occupational safety on construction or industrial sites.
- Knowledge of Uzbek safety requirements; practical risk assessment and briefing skills.
- Contractor inspection, training register and Excel and Word reporting experience.
Nice to have
- Safety coordination for work near water, at height or in electrical installations.
Conditions
- Compensation, scope of engagement and payment arrangements are agreed in the contract before work begins.
- Schedule, work location and any travel requirements are agreed individually.
- Contribute to the Amu Darya complex: energy, data centres and useful heat recovery.
- Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Site mobilisation and crew composition follow the project implementation schedule.
